Assembled by the Seattle Seahawks NHL Football team, Task Force 12: has assembled 12 of the Puget Sound region’s finest veteran service organizations to work together to create and provide life changing support to our military community. With six major military installations within 60 miles of Lumen Field, the Seattle Seahawks are joining forces to create a "family" of support for our military service members, veterans, and their families.

  • Washington Mental Health Counselors Association (WMHCA)

The Washington Mental Health Counselors Association (WMHCA) is a vital partner of Growing Veterans, dedicated to enhancing the quality of peer support training for veterans and service members. Each year, WMHCA reviews and approves Growing Veterans' peer support training curriculum, ensuring that it meets the highest standards in mental health education and practice.

Their endorsement signifies that the training has been approved for 20.5 Continuing Education (CE) credits for Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, and Licensed Social Workers, as well as all respective associate licenses. WMHCA is committed to supporting the mental health profession and promoting competent practice among licensed professionals.
