“Sean Dalgarn steps away from the Zoom meeting momentarily to grab a postcard. He holds it up to the camera; across the top, "Air Force" is typed in bold black lettering; when he flips it over to show the back, there's a handwritten note from an old volunteer.

“Dalgarn quickly scans the card and places it back on the shelf. He's concise, relatively serious, and extremely hard-working — which is what you might expect from an Air Force veteran and executive director.
There are many more notes where this one came from. They're a testament to the fact that this farm nurtures relationships just as diligently as the produce it harvests, if not more.
"Ultimately, our product is people," Dalgarn said. "The farm is a by-product of all of that going well. We donate most of our food; the bottom line is that our mission is to repurpose ourselves and show the value in community..."
