Planting the Seeds for Success, Part I February 25, 2023

Seed, tubers, plugs, clones and more! In this class learn about our favorite sources for bulk and specialty seeds, conduct germination tests, and hands on learn from a real farmer how to set up phased indoor grow stations.

It’s a place every aspiring farmer eventually finds themself, down the rabbit hole of seed shopping. Don’t get caught up in the race to buy expensive risky new varieties at retail prices, in this class you will learn how & where to purchase wholesale seeds in Washington State, what the difference between treated, untreated, open pollinated, and F1 is. Plus how to build the right environment for germination to ensure your seeds make it from packet, to pulling a full harvest!
